Fondazione Etica, as a partner institution together with Directorate of Internal Security of the Ministry of the Interior of Bulgaria, was held on Wednesday 20 March in Bucharest., participates in the Erasmus+ project for the world of Education and Professional Training (VET – Vocational Education and Training), funded by the European Union, led by the General Anti-Corruption Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior of Romania.
The project called“promoting INTegrity through Organizational change and BEhavior tailored interventions“, sintetizzato nell’acronimo INTO BE, ha come obiettivo il rafforzamento della capacità, da parte degli enti parte del progetto, di implementare policy di integrità nel settore pubblico, attraverso un approccio pratico che riduca gli spazi per la corruzione e lo sviluppo di un tool of assessment ad hoc.
The project, started at the end of December 2023, will last for 3 years and involves research and debate activities among the different methodologies present in the three Member States involved and in other nations, through frequent meetings, online and in person through workshops in Romania, Bulgaria and Italy, to reach the development of the shared methodology and its implementation.

During the project meeting, the progress in the implementation of the shared project activities was discussed and the steps that will lead to the drafting of the first interim report.
Workshop no.3 – Bucharest, 11-14 February 2025
Three days of workshops to deepen the methodology to be developed, on the basis of the respective skills. The intercultural and interdisciplinary comparison will lead to the proposal of a complementary and innovative approach.
Workshop no.4 – Brescia, 13-16 May 2025
In our office in Brescia, together with the Romanian and Bulgarian teams. We have entered the heart of the definition of the indicators and variables that will make up the tool for evaluating the integrity of public personnel, which we will test through a pilot phase in the coming weeks.
Project Meeting No. 3 – Milan, September 2-4, 2025
We're now halfway through our process and have received approval for the Interim Report. We're proceeding with analyzing the results from the pilot phase of the tool to develop the final instrument.

La fase pilota di raccolta dati e utilizzo della metodologia necessita di un momento di confronto importante e di un raffinamento degli strumenti di data collection per procedere all’implementazione della ricerca più estesa.

I meeting internazionali sono fondamentali per verificare insieme ai partner lo stato di attuazione del progetto e apportare, se necessario, correttivi al fine di rispettare KPI e tempistiche.

Abbiamo presentato i risultati della fase pilota, che evidenziano un buon livello di trasparenza e accountability nei Ministeri analizzati dei tre paesi partner.

In vista della chiusura del progetto a fine anno, un passaggio importante è la condivisione sulle modalità di disseminazione del lavoro svolto, perché diventi patrimonio comune.
