Cookie Policy

Ethics Foundation (“FE”) hereby intends to inform users of the website www.fondazionetica.it (“Site”) about the data that it may collect, process and store through the use of cookies.

COOKIES

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by users send to their terminals, where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites on the next visit.

What are cookies used for?

Cookies are used for different purposes: performing computer authentication, monitoring sessions, storing information on specific configurations regarding users who access the server, storing preferences, etc.

What are "technical" cookies?

These are cookies that are used to navigate or provide a service requested by the user. They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner. They usually cannot be deactivated without compromising the functionality of the website.

Without the use of these cookies, some operations could not be carried out or would be more complex and/or less secure.

What are “analytics” cookies?

They are cookies used to collect and analyze traffic and use of a website. These cookies allow us to determine whether the same user connects to the website, to monitor the use of the site and to improve its performance and usability by users.

What are "profiling" cookies?

These are cookies used to track the user's browsing on the internet and create profiles on their tastes, habits, choices, etc. With these cookies, advertising messages can be transmitted to the user's terminal in line with the preferences already expressed by the user while browsing online.

What are third-party cookies?

Third-party cookies are cookies set by a website other than the one the user is visiting. This is because on each site there may be elements (images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains, etc.) that reside on servers other than that of the site visited.

Is the user's consent necessary for the installation of cookies on his terminal?

User consent is not required for the installation of our own technical and "analytics" cookies. Profiling cookies, on the other hand, can be installed on the user's terminal only if the user has expressed their consent after having been informed in simplified ways. Consent is also required in the case of use of third-party "analytics" cookies, if tools that reduce the identifying power of cookies have not been adopted and the third party cross-references the information collected with other information it already has.
