Privacy Policy

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, as well as the free circulation of such data (hereinafter, the "Regulation" or "GDPR"), Fondazione Etica, as of the Data Controller (hereinafter, “Fe” or the “Data Controller”), provides you with the following information.

Definitions

“Processing”: any operation or set of operations, carried out with or without the aid of automated processes and applied to personal data or sets of personal data, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, l adaptation or modification, extraction, consultation, use, communication by transmission, dissemination or any other form of making available, comparison or interconnection, limitation, cancellation or destruction

Personal data”: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“Data subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more elements characteristic of his or her physical identity, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social;

“Special categories of personal data”: corresponding to “sensitive data”, i.e. personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data intended to uniquely identify a natural person, data relating to that person's health or sex life or sexual orientation;

“Personal data relating to criminal convictions and crimes”: personal data relating to criminal convictions and crimes or related security measures, substantially corresponding to “judicial data”, or personal data suitable for revealing measures referred to in Article 3, paragraph 1, letters from a) to o) and from r) to u), of the Presidential Decree of 14 November 2002, n. 313, regarding criminal records, registry of administrative sanctions dependent on crime and related pending charges, or the status of accused or suspect pursuant to articles 60 and 61 of the code of criminal procedure.

Purpose and methods of processing

The processing of personal data is aimed at achieving the following purposes:
a) to carry out personnel selection activities;
b) to respond to requests or questions in the case of contact via e-mail.
The legal basis of the above purposes is constituted by the execution of pre-contractual measures pursuant to art. 6 letter. b) GDPR.

If it becomes necessary to process your personal data for a purpose other than that for which they were collected, before such further processing the Data Controller will provide you with information regarding the different purpose and any further information necessary to guarantee correct and transparent processing. . The case in which this purpose may be considered compatible with the initial ones pursuant to the law remains excluded. As part of the Data Controller's activity, the processing of your personal data will take place in compliance with the law, in compliance with the principles of correctness and lawfulness, necessity and relevance, in the protection of your privacy and your rights and will be carried out through the use of manual and IT tools, with logic strictly related to the aforementioned purposes and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data themselves.

The personal data you provide will be kept strictly for the necessary period.

Nature of the provision of data and consequences of failure to communicate

The provision of personal data for access to the information service through the Contacts section and for sending applications is purely optional. Failure to provide the data strictly essential for sending the message and application will make it impossible to follow up on it and to use the service offered by FE through the site.

Communication and dissemination of data

To pursue the above purposes, your personal data may be known to our employees and/or collaborators in various capacities authorized by FE for the processing, to whom the instructions for the processing have been provided and who have undertaken to maintain confidentiality.
Any communication to third parties other than the Data Controller and the data processors is envisaged for the pursuit of the purposes indicated and in any case within the limits of the same to third parties, engaged in the correct and regular pursuit of the purposes described above.
In any case, the processing by them takes place correctly and in compliance with the legal provisions in force. The personal data concerning you are not and will not be disclosed. The management and storage of personal data will take place in Europe.

Owner and responsible for the processing of personal data

In relation to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to request from Fondazione Etica:
a) access: you can request confirmation whether or not data concerning you is being processed, as well as further clarifications regarding the information referred to in this information notice;
b) rectification: you can request to rectify or integrate the data you have provided to us, if inaccurate;
c) cancellation: you can request that your data be deleted if they are no longer necessary for the purposes pursued by FE, in case of revocation of consent or your opposition to the processing, in case of unlawful processing, or if there is a legal obligation of cancellation;
d) the limitation: you can request that your data be processed only for the purposes of conservation, with the exclusion of other processing, for the period necessary to rectify your data or in case of illicit processing for which you oppose the cancellation or if You must exercise your rights in court and the data stored by FE may be useful to you or, finally, if you have objected to the processing and a check is underway on the prevalence of FE's legitimate reasons over yours;

e) opposition: you can object to the processing of your data at any time, unless there are legitimate reasons for FE, which prevail over yours, to proceed with the processing; for example for the exercise of a right or for the defense of FE in court;

f) portability: you can request to receive the data you have provided, or to have it transmitted to another owner indicated by you, in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device. Furthermore, we inform you that in the event of failure or partial response from the Data Controller to the aforementioned requests, you will have the right to lodge a complaint or appeal with the Supervisory Authority, which in Italy is the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data.
