Lights 2025: Catering, Culture, and Inclusion

Thursday, June 5, 2025 The new summer season of Lights in the Park opens, in the former Enaoli area, with the presentation of the packed program of events and activities that will liven up the coming summer months: cinema, jazz concerts, yoga classes, cooking classes... and, of course, catering. A program designed to ensure that LUCI is an open and welcoming meeting place for the entire local community, and beyond.

Since its inception in 2020, the LUCI APS association, promoter of the innovative social impact investment project, has promoted aidea of circularity and sustainability, which represents the soul of Luci nel Parco. Starting from the financing method (a social deposit certificate issued by Banca MPS, which provided for the devolution of part of the interest by the subscribers to support the project), through the choice of sustainable furniture and collaboration with local agricultural companies, arriving at musical programs for children in difficulty, organized by the same musicians who performed during the summer evenings. The dissemination of innovative values and practices is necessarily also achieved through the making the property available, granted to the LUCI Association by the Tuscan Regional Lands Authority, to third sector entities that take turns over time.

The new season will therefore be entrusted to the APS The Relay, already known in the city for her cultural and social commitment and who, at Enaoli, in addition to managing the restaurant business, inspired by the principles of short supply chain and of the circular kitchen, will offer a rich calendar of afternoon workshops, designed to promote well-being and socialisation. Music and cinema will provide the backdrop to the evenings, making Luci nel Parco a true cultural space.

All the activities, which will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the environment hosting the project, are in full harmony with the founding messages of LUCI:

Social work can be not only volunteering, but also jobs.

Social is not only good, but also beautiful.

Social issues can be a driving force for development.

LUCI has created opportunities for employment, social inclusion, and the revitalization of a space that benefits from its proximity to the wonderful Maremma Park. Offering a varied and diverse program of art by La Staffetta will be an opportunity to increase its impact on the area and further publicize this place among the ever-increasing number of tourists visiting the Grosseto area.

Without forgetting that LUCI was the first experiment in Italy of social impact investing on the model of the solidarity titles provided for by the Third Sector Code, which has already seen a replication of the project method in Naples, with Common House inaugurated last May 27th, and is continuing its path in the valorization of the The Way of St. Francis Caracciolo between Molise and Campania.

A revolution that started in Grosseto.
