Open Gov Week 2025 will take place from 19 to 23 May 2025, an opportunity to foster discussion between institutions, civil society organisations and citizens on the challenges and opportunities of open government policies.
The event aims to strengthen and expand the movement of innovators engaged with the OGP IT Community in building a more transparent, participatory and accountable governance. As in previous years, the OGW will take place in conjunction with the initiatives promoted in over 70 countries adhering to the Open Government Partnership, consolidating the role of Italy within the global movement for open government.
The OGW2025 edition will focus on key issues for the development of open and inclusive policies – also with reference to the European and international panorama – with a focus on 6th National Action Plan for Open Government (6NAP) of Italy and on the National Commitments selected for the Open Gov Challenge: a call to action for all members of the Partnership to increase ambition in ten areas of open government and help strengthen democracies.
