New social impact investment project: after Tuscany, Fondazione Etica's "LUCI - planning with social impact" arrives in Campania.

The idea comes from the relationship with\u00a0FoQus Foundation<\/a><\/strong>, with its Director Renato Quaglia and its President Rachele Furfaro.<\/p>

FOQUS has implemented an extensive program of urban, social and educational regeneration ai\u00a0Spanish Quarters of Naples<\/strong>. Here in the sixteenth-century ex-monastery, which it has restored and re-functionalized, FOQUS has inaugurated a nursery school, kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, houses training institutions, businesses and productive activities that have triggered a profound process of change one of the toughest neighborhoods in Europe. In 2016 FOQUS inaugurated\u00a0Argo, qualification center aimed at children, teenagers, young people with cognitive disabilities<\/strong>\u00a0and their families, with specialized activities aimed at improving the individual and social skills of the users.<\/p>

The idea of doing more for those kids was born from Argo's experience: it's the\u00a0project "The Common House<\/a>\u201d, which goes beyond simple assistance<\/strong>, foreseeing a path of progressive housing autonomy and a gradual integration into the productive world.<\/p>

"The Common House" will be built over the next 18 months following the\u00a0regeneration of an abandoned public building<\/strong>, which will host thehousing for people with disabilities<\/strong>\u00a0cognitive<\/strong>\u00a0and will be the place for their starting work. In fact, the project also includes the creation of a laboratory for\u00a0artisanal production of chocolate bars<\/strong>, which can then be marketed for the benefit of the young people with disabilities who produced them, reinforcing their path to autonomy also from a working perspective. The aim is to offer these kids aopportunities for independent living, leveraging their potential<\/strong>\u00a0and resources and experimenting with an alternative housing solution to community and family life.<\/p>

Beautiful project, but how to finance it?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Instead of resorting to traditional funding sources,<\/strong>\u00a0such as philanthropy or public funding, FOQUS decides to experiment with that innovative form of funding that goes by the name of\u00a0social impact investing.<\/strong><\/p>

Call about it\u00a0Fondazione Etica<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0who has already experienced them in\u00a0Tuscany with the Luci nel Parco project<\/strong>, while\u00a0Guber Bank<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>offers to participate in the project as a financial entity.<\/p>

Taking a cue from the "solidarity titles" introduced by law 106\/2016<\/strong>, Guber offers to private savers, through the online platform\u00a0\u201cDeposito102\u201d, the opening of an escrow account<\/strong>\u00a0at 18 months, whose\u00a0remuneration is double:<\/strong><\/p>
