Fondazione Etica was called to speak at the workshop on 29 April and at the webinar on 12 April on the theme:

TRANSPARENCY AND CIVIC MONITORING

How to monitor the National Recovery and Resilience Plan?

"235 billion euros are the economic resources provided by the so-called National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Pnrr) to get out of the COVID crisis: an enormous amount of resources that would allow Italy to be transformed for the better, but which risk falling prey to mafias and corrupt logic.
The time schedule of the Pnrr provides for the achievement of 100 deadlines in 2022, between milestones and targets (to use the words of the Plan), i.e. 84 measures. As reported by the openpolis association, most of these belong to mission 1, Digitalisation, innovation, competitiveness, culture and tourism (25) and to mission 2, Green revolution and ecological transition (24). Challenging themes, which have a strong impact on our territories and on the future.

Monitoring the Pnrr through the action of the monitoring communities means counting on civic sentinels capable of directing public decision-making processes, verifying the correctness of spending and guaranteeing the smooth running of projects. What tools, skills and knowledge do we need to generate them?”
