Incontro con Vanessa Bradford Kerr: difficoltà e opportunità delle politiche sanitarie

the role of non-governmental organizations and civil society
“Difficoltà ed opportunità nelle politiche sanitarie – il ruolo delle ONG e della società civile”

All’ incontro-dibattito, organizzato da Cittadinanza Attiva e l’Ambasciata degli Stati Uniti d’America in Italia,  è intervenuta la Dr.ssa Vanessa Bradford Kerry* per un confronto Italia – Stati Uniti sulle politiche sanitarie, le sfide attuali e future e il ruolo delle ONG.

*Dr. Vanessa Bradford Kerry is an Instructor in Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an Instructor in Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is also the Director of the Global Public Policy and Social Change Program in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine. The program helps examine the underutilization of healthcare as a tool to address economic, social, and cultural disparities that define poor health domestically and internationally. Her academic focus is on developing needed partnerships between medicine and public and foreign policy.
